The Visitor Centre was founded as a didactic space concerning the Fauna Park and, by extension, the six nature reserves of Mount Amiata (Monte Labbro, Pescinello, Rocconi, Poggio all’Olmo, S.S.Trinità and Monte Penna). The centre is divided into five rooms set up with giant posters, maps and mineral exhibits with the aim of providing a general understanding of the Amiata ecosystem by stimulating the visitor to learn more about the most interesting topics. At the end of the exhibition space are two dioramas with a reconstruction of the peculiar habitat of the area. Guided tours are available of the museum and, on request, of the Fauna Park and educational workshops are routinely organized.
